Top 5 jelly belly flavors

    Munching on my breakfast of champions that is jelly belly jelly beans, I think it's my duty to provide my top five flavors of the one candy that can truely be said is "of the gods"

    5) Caramel Corn - One of those unique flavors that makes you wonder, "how did they make it taste like that?" Wonderful caramel flavor with just a hint of popcorn

    4) Dr. Pepper - Being a Dr. Pepper nut, this one has to make the list. It has a nice bite to it, just like the drink after which it's patterned.

    3) Bubble Gum - A classic flavor that never gets old. The next best thing to popping a few pieces of Bubble Yum in my mouth.

    2) Tutti-Frutti - Just a wonderful, sweet, fruity flavor. Similar to bubble gum, but not quite the same. The aftertaste is where you really taste the fruit flavor

    1) Island Punch - These are the lavendar beans that seem to stick out. Everybody I know doesn't like this, but this is by far my favorite. It has kind of a sourness to it and finishes off really well. I ALWAYS save these for last and always eat them one at a time to get maximum enjoyment

    honerable mention: Sizzlin' Cinnamon, Watermelon, Capuccino, Buttered Popcorn, Buttered Toast, Cherry

    Bottom Five flavors:

    Blueberry - mainly because I don't like blueberries that much
    Pear - Doesn't really translate well to jelly beans
    Peanut Butter - Doesn't taste like peanut butter to me
    Peppermint - I've never liked peppermint on anything
    Licorice - The only flavor of jelly bellies that I just refuse to eat. How anybody can eat anything that is licorice flavored is beyond my comprehension.

    I like most of them but the buttered popcorn flavor is among the worst things i have ever tasted.

    My 5 favorite:

    1) Black Forest Cake (it's very rare but was included in the original issue of the Harry Potter Beans). It was awesome and I wish they would bring it back.
    2) Dr. Pepper
    3) Cotton-Candy
    4)Watermelon
    5) Tutti-Fruity


    5 Worst (I'll not mention the Harry Potter flavors here because there are some really bad one's in that set)

    1) Pear
    2) Wild Blackberry (it starts out good but the after taste is like vomit)
    3) Pink Grapefruit
    4) Cafe Latte
    5) Licorice (I have to agree they are just nasty)

    No, it doesnt. It tastes like someone SMOTHERED a plain jelly bean in butter. It's good in moderation. I love those and the caramel corn, the toasted marshmallow, and Dr. Pepper... Haven't tried too much else.

    On somewhat of a related note: Did anyone besides me actually try Berti Botts every flavor jelly beans?

    HOLY COW those were freakin realistic. The dirt tasted like dirt, the black pepper tasted like black pepper, and the grass tasted like grass, etc etc. I didn't have the nerve to taste the vomit or the sardines.

    Lets just say they are just as realistic as the others you mentioned. My wife liked the Spinach and my son liked the grass. And some of the kids at school liked the booger flavor.

    They are novelties that go along with the Harry Potter book series. Those flavors are mentioned in some of the books.
