Looks like the previous threads are gone. I've had a close eye on this cat for a couple years now. I thought he would enter this past draft, but decided to go back for his sophmore year. Seems to be getting more attention now, as he currently sits at the #5 spot on Chad Ford's 2013 prospect list. Standing out this summer during Lebrons camp probably had something to do with it.

His skillset is very similar to MKG with a bit more polish. Specifically in the post(Offensive or Defensive). His biggest problem has been academic, but he's still shown great instinct on the court. Could play the 3, or the 4 in our Lin/Harden/Delfino type lineups. My top choices in the draft would be bigs like Isaiah Austin & Rudy Gobert, but Mitchell is the best 3-4 hybrid out there.

All the guys you mentioned sound pretty intriguing to me but will likely be out of reach of our standard 14 pick ( though it doesn't have the sting of 14s past due to an actual direction of the team.). I think we will have to hope someone falls a la sullinger or Perry Jones to get a top tier prospect. A guy id keep an eye on is Dario static. He will likely be there and would be a boon to our second unit as a play maker for that unit. My. 02.

Interesting player. Only seen clips, but the way he is talked about, it is doubtful he is around when/if Rockets draft this season.

Wow, that's strange. There is another Tony Mitchell out there, but he just graduated from Bama I believe, but neither of these are for him haha.

You are right. But the guy I linked is the only one with that name in draftexpress 2013 rankings(top30). Not sure why.:)

He's much more like Josh Smith than MKG.

He's has a few SF skills (not shot-creating), but with PF size/length/athleticism, which makes him a perfect face-up 4 in an uptempo system. His post-D isn't great, but his weakside shotblocking is elite. Offensively, he can finish with the best of them, and can hit the J out to 20 ft.
