Well, the dollar has soared lately against the Euro and the British pound. Is it going to go up further, or is now the time to travel to Europe to get the most bang for your buck?
Ha, I read the thread title as "Time Travel To Europe". I went to London recently, was still expensive as ****.
I'd say go - it's not tourist season anymore, and it's still relatively warm. Forget the exchange rate - you could get over there and the dollar could bottom out overnight for all you know. If you're thinking of taking a vacation, do it. Just don't spend excessively while you're over there! (This is coming from someone who just got back from Europe 3 weeks ago)
Southern Europe....Northern will be getting quite chilly.....unless you use the anti freeze available during Octoberfest. DD
just do it. f the exchange rate. if you wait forever to match your personal life schedule with an advantageous exchange rate, it may never come.
It's sorta like waiting for prices for the latest gadget to drop. By the time the price drops, there's another gadget that is cooler and then you gotta wait again. If you want it, do it now and enjoy yourself ...otherwise you are waiting for a day that will never come.
I kind of disagree - I went to Sweden in January and tho it was cold - prices were way cheaper than normal.
i really do hope that the dollar keeps rising against the euro. hell if it could go back to about a dollar making 1.20 euros that would be great. probably wont happen but that would be twice as much for your money then about 4 months ago. its got a long way to get back to that point though. does anyone know the history of dollar to peso. i dont ever remember it being this high. would be a great time to take a trip to mexico i guess
yeah ok i just checked and it used to be 1 dollar to over 3000 pesos. what the hell did it used to cost a million pesos for a hotel/hostel back in 1990???
