Bulls are shopping Robin Lopez, Jameer Nelson, Tony Allen and Jerian Grant. Thunder might be able to just sign him since Bulls will apparently waive him if he's not traded.

I like Robin Lopez but don't see how we can make a trade for him work.

I'd have no problem trading for Jameer though. He's on a 1 year minimum deal. If we have to give up a 2nd I'm fine with it.

5 years ago Allen would have been a perfect fill in for Roberson.

But he's 36 years old, I can't imagine he's much of a difference maker defensively these days, and his offensive game is just as underwhelming as ever.

I love that they are going for it and it will spectacularly fail. Them going for it this year, PG and Carmelo leaving next year, Russ and Adams locked up with big money, all of that will set them back for years and I couldn't be more happier.

What happened to the Bulls tho? Such horrible front office decisions in the last 4 years. Jordan Bell trade was dumb.

According to @Nook , he's looked decent the few games he has played this season.

He has been hurt a lot and is coming off of a fairly serious injury. However, when I saw him for a handful of games he still defended well and his offense was about the same. Had he been released, I wanted him at the end of the Rockets bench. However, interesting that the Thunder seem interested in trading for him. They do have a couple guys on the end of the bench that Chicago might be interested in. Allen offensively is an upgrade over Roberson. However Allen cannot guard as diverse a group of players. Look for Allen to be very physical defensively to try to compensate for his age.

It would be good for everyone else if they settled for Tony Allen.

Even at his best Allen was a poor offensive player, and he's never developed the 3 ball. But he was a spectacular defensive player so you tolerated his offensive deficiencies. Is his defense still good enough to compensate, because I kind of feel like he would be in higher demand if it was.

Robertson was probably the best perimeter defender in the game, so you understood why they tolerated his ghastly offensive ability.

No one will ever confuse Allen with being a good offensive player, but he shoots well enough to stay on the floor when he defends. He is shooting 50% on 2's and 33% on 3's this season in a limited sample. Roberson was one of the 5 best perimeter defenders in the league and his production isn't going to be replace by Allen; but he will give them something.

Tony Allen is such a desert movie. He's 36, coming off a broken leg and can't shoot for ****.

Please OKC, trade your young first rounder for him.

Lopez , Grant have been on the trade block for months. They are asking a 1st for Lopez but good luck getting that. If they accept a second I'm sure the trade would have been done.
