A single-A pitcher in the Yankees organization pitches using either hand, and has a 6 fingered Mizuno glove for easy switching.

After reading this, I think I'm gonna have my kids use their left hands on odd numbered days and right hand on even days.

Yeah, I read this on Esp'n the Magazine. I don't think he will last that's what she said in the majors.

I saw a video of one of this dude's first confrontations with a switch hitter. It was before the umps had even considered what they would do if that situation arose. After the hitter and pitcher both switched back and forth like 9 or 10 times, finally all the umps huddled together and discussed it and made the hitter pick a side. So of course the pitcher chose the same hand. I think he struck the guy out. The hitter and his coach pitched (HAHAHA) a fit which was made even funnier by the fact that the game was a blowout and they were losing badly anyway (this was either the last or 2nd to last out of the game).

Pretty interesting story. Dude's only in A ball right now so it would still be a long shot for him to make it to the majors...but you never know. It helps that he's mowing them down right now. If he makes it to the majors, I bet MLB has to change something in the rulebook to account for what happens when he faces a switchhitter.

I've always wanted to learn switch-bowling. That would be fairly impressive.
