Some of the players in the NBA are just plain knuckleheads. So, I'm wondering what a team made up of the NBA knuckleheads would look like & what they could do before they self imploded.

So, who would be on your "All Knucklehead Team"?

    C: Rasheed/Cato
    PF: Zach Randolph/Kenyon Martin/Fortson
    SF: Artest/Steven Jackson
    SG: Bonzi Wells/Ruben Patterson
PG: Stephon Marbury/Francis (all that talent & he never got it)

I put Rasheed at center so I could maximize my knucklehead factor. I need one more to round out my 12 man active roster. Any ideas?

All in all, if they weren't a bunch of knuckleheads, that'd be a very good team.

I must've missed it. What did he do to qualify as a knucklehead?

I'm not sure I'd call him a knucklehead. He qualifies as a huge bust.

Isn't the answer obvious? Eddie Griffin.

He got caught with a handgun in his bag on the team plane, said he took his 'girlfriends' bag on accident, just an honest mistake lol

Also Got pulled over speeding with a suspended license and loaded gun in the car

Also there was some incident at a club where he had like 100 grand of jewlery taken from him

He's been arrested numerous times for unlawful possession of a firearm. His last arrest was what made the Celtics cut him.

Also, Olowokandi? Are you serious? That guy is an English gentleman. He's a terrible basketball player, sure, but he's not a knucklehead by any means. I also don't really understand Kelvin Cato being on that list. He's an underachiever, but what's he done to be in trouble?

    My votes that went unlisted:

    Sebastian Telfair (dude loves guns)
    Qyntel Woods (dog fighting)
Carmelo Anthony (pot, don't talk to him about snitches)
Maurice Taylor (all the drug suspensions)
Eddie Griffin (shooting at ex-girlfriend, drug-use, drunk driving while simultaneously masturbating to p*rn)

    My all time greatest knuckleheads?

    J.R. Rider
    Latrell Sprewell
    Vernon Maxwell
    Roy Tarpley
    Anthony Mason
    Derrick Coleman

are we going off of sheer stupidity? arrest records? or all around "less than stellar" persona?

eddie griffin fits the bill all the way, but he's not a jerk on the court. stephen jackson is the only one that stands out as an @ss on and off the court; i guess arterst too. i also hate marbury. and sheed is beyatch.

    good choices!

    Let's see...

I would add JR Smith to that list. Carmelo, AI, and Kobe also have to be somewhere on there. May be B Diddy?

I don't know, a lot of those guys are probably 'borderline' knuckleheads. In a league of roughly 400 players, that's really a pretty short list, especially considering that most of these 'knuckleheads' are only so on the basketball court, not in real life (Rasheed, B Diddy come to mind). The NFL, MLB and NHL probably have more knuckleheads than the NBA, come to think of it.

EDIT: Posey? And how could I leave out a 'potential' knucklehead: V-Mac? :D

    D. Miles is actually not that bad. I think for the most part, his off court troubles are behind him. He seemed to have straightened up his act. Chris "Birdman" Anderson is already out of the league. :p
