The Timberwolves gave us this game. It was nice to see a team collapse under defensive pressure other than the Rockets. I know this win hurts us lottery wise, but if our pick is too high up, we can just give it to the Griz. It's good to see this team pull together and get 3 wins in a row. Great speed by Francis to avoid the foul in the last five seconds. B
This was one of those games that a true contender unlike the T-Wolves would have put away easily. You are right, this was a free bee for the Rockets. And I don't really care about the lottery that much. We've struck gold by getting Francis and Griffin. So, let's let them develop that current star power. The only thing the rockets will need from the draft is good solid role players. We're going to be in the position that the Nets were in last year. Enough scorers, now we need guys doing the little things that are usually in the 8 to 13th pick in the lottery.
how many times have we seen us on the opposite end of this type of thing...but you have to admit. the rockets applied clean solid pressure and it worked. I have seen it worked against the rockets many times...so it was very nice Minnesota is finall figuring out that not matter how good chauncy plays, Brandon gives them stability and leadership.....nice to see others hurting....
