http://www.worldometers.info/ This site basically shows real time numbers for all kinds of worldly statistics (population, government expenditures, consumption, emissions among others). I get the notion that some of the stuff in here may wander into D&D territory, but a lot of it I found to be simply mind-boggling. It's crazy to think that in the time it takes you to blink, another million emails have been fired off.
I'm pretty much disturbed by every single thing listed on there. If I were forced to sit and watch that page all day every day, I'm fairly certain I'd go into a deep depression.
Wonder how fast the p*rn counter would go. No need to watch that page all the time. That's what RSS feeds are for.
It seems all these stats are rising or falling on a fixed number. They should add a variable to where a stat could rise as high as 8 one second, or as low as 4 the next, etc.
Anyone know how they figure the amount of something illegal being sold? There are no records of them being sold. I tried opening the site, maybe the answers are there... but my interwebs is slow. Damn those pr0n sites, all they do is slow my computer down!
The should augment the food section to calculate how much food would be needed per person, and how much is actually wasted.
