Sorry to start another sports bar thread, but...

I just moved to San Antonio around the medical center area...anyone know any good sports bars that show Astros & Longhorn games [i'm not even going to mention the Rockets...i know this is Spurs land]? Preferably some place with large TVs.

Also, I live across from Fast Eddie's...anyone know how that place is?

You must live right around the Babcock, Medical, and Wurzbach area. I lived there a few years ago, not a bad area. Your closest bet is Champps which is on I-10 and Huebner. You can also try the Fox and Hound which is one DeZavala and Vance Jackson (Behind H-E-B)

Fast Eddies has some good bar action, and pretty good TV viewing. But I doubt they show anything but cable and network sports. For satellite sports your best bet is Champps, F&H, or BW3 which is on DeZavala just past Wal-Mart.

There is another spot called Lion and Rose (I think??) on Broadway. Never been there, but they claim to show lots of European soccer.

    Hope this helps.
