Should Brooks be in the Three Point Contest?

    Does anyone think Aaron Brooks will and should be in the three point contest?
    He's second in the league in three pointers made, and shooting at 40%. That should be good enough right? Who else is in it, since we got confirmation that Channing Frye is gonna be in it. I think Danillo Gallinari is gonna make it also, and I really hope Aaron Brooks is gonna be in it too.

    When will we know who's in or who's not? I'm really curious about who's gonna make it to the 3 point contest because I'd like to shoot 3s from way downtown, watching it swish through the net. ;)

    If frye is in it,aaron brooks better be in it!!!!
    And I know he'l give them a run 4 their money....
    Either 3 point contest,or skills competition,
    They better recognize!!!

    He won for the men 3 point shoot out but got beat by a girl in the end lol
    Poor brooks..but that's still my boy!!! :grin:

    I don't if he'd have a shot at winning against NBA-level talent. He seems better suited to hit the 3 while in motion... either off the fast break or coming around a pick.

    Still, I'd love to see him in it so that the Rockets might have some sort of representation in Dallas!

    You serious about putting his name in the contest list?

    He's a great all round player that could create for his own shots and shoots the dagger when the game is on the line, but in the 3pt contest? Oh ouch.:p

    Well he is definitely not a horrible 3 point shooter. He shoots it at a pretty good clip, nearly 40% his last 2 years even though he only makes a little over 1 a game. He's got too many other skills than stand out by the 3 point line all game, but he certainly could.

    Hey, Channing Frye got named to the contest and he has fewer 3's than AB.

    I don't see why AB couldn't make it.
