Had them done yesterday yesterday, packing removal later this morning. Lots of pain. Man there are a lot of nerves in the nose. Anyone else ever had these done?

I remember Hedo Turkoglu had septoplasty when he was with the Kings. Can't even imagine how it was with him since he's got a lot more nose than I do.

Anyhow, I just want to say "Owwwwwww."

The pain and trouble now are a necessary evil. You will love breathing through your nose in a week or two; especially at night. For me, my last surgery ended about two years of a constant headache too. I didn't know how bad it was until it stopped.

Now take your hydrocodone and go back to sleep.

Thanks. Good to hear there's light at the end of the tunnel. :)

Went to the doctor, some of the packing is staying in until Tuesday because I bled a lot during surgery. Still kind of miserable, but much better than last night.

A few months ago, I was having these MONSTER headaches with vertigo...I went to several doctors, got several tests - then an ENT figured it out within 10 seconds of looking up my nose. Apparently, I have a "buckled" septum - as in, it deviates both ways.

He gave me all sorts of nasal sprays and those cleared it up for the most part, but he said I only have a few years before it'll be so bad that I'm gonna need surgery.

I really wasn't looking forward to that then, but after reading this I'm dreading it.
