Although it's early, but it's always fun to predict who's gonna be in the playoffs this year. It doesn't have to be in any order. Here is my prediction for the west:

    Dallas (too much fire power)
    Spurs (Duncan...)
    T-Wolves (KG...)
    Lakers (well...)
Kings (They are getting old and on the decline. They will still make it to the playoffs, but they are no longer one of the top four any more)
Rockets (Hell they better make it.)
Sonics (Lewis is having an allstar year. When Allen comes back, they will be even better)
Grizzlies (They might be the surprise team of the year. Hubbie Brown is their coach, and he knows coaching.)

Well, in reality, the Blazers, though a disgusting team, might be too powerful to be counted out. The Suns of Biotches are almost identical to us talent wise. The difference is we have JVG and they have FJ. I watched them playing the Jazz the other night, and it was ugly. It reminded me how the Rockets played last year.
The Blazers and Suns of Biotches might replace the Sonics and Grizzlies on that list. I hope they don't.

Now, the Jazz. There is no way they will make it to the playoffs. But, as long as Sloan is there, you have to count them a contender.
