    is it worth taking a chance on larry hughes and tim thomas right now?

    Depends on the size of your league. I recently picked up Hughes myself. He should get lots of minutes with Hinrich out, at least, and that's half the battle.

    its about 16 ppl and i kinda wanna drop westbrook, i just dont think his shot selection will get any better

    I'd rather keep Westbrook and his upside. Adding Hughes would just add a little bit to your team in the early part of the season. There is a chance Westbrook, albeit small, that Westbrook could be significant after the game slows down for him, ala Aaron Brooks.
