    "Onto" as a preposition, "On to" if you're using it to mean "onwards and towards":

    I placed the ho onto the bed.

    I moved on to the next booty.

    That's true. An Aggie would never even think to ask this.

    For the record: "onto" means putting something on the surface: "I'm putting paint onto this fence"

    "On to" is "going forward" or "toward": "I'm going on to the next..."
