Roof closed.. blurgh. Was open for opening day 2017, magical season. Open for 2022 ALCS (a win). Also was open for the exhibition this week and for all the college games (enough to remind everybody it still works!). I know it’s 100% for the pitchers who prefer it (and now, besides LMJ, they have a full staff that never pitched with the roof open), and if they don’t open it the entire year apparently they cannot be forced to open it for the playoffs (if they make it). Roof curse has replaced the dome curse (which was also a roof curse). This will be the last time I will complain about it.
Anyone going? If so I'm jealous. Damn nice day. let's go boys. Rid ourselves of the bad juju from other Houston sports. Manifesting good energy. Go Stros, go coogs.
I’m more worried about the fact Loperfido is batting 5th. Can’t believe we are down that bad… Hopefully he proves me wrong and has a great season.
I think Joe also got the bottom 3 wrong. I think it should be… 7. meyers 8. Walker 9. Diaz I base it off last year’s OB%
Awful lineup. Altuve has not been acceptable as a leadoff hitter in at least 2-3 years. Yordan has previously been frustrated by hitting directly behind Altuve and not having time to get settled or see pitches. Loperfido is not a middle of the order hitter. With these 9 players, I go: Cam Paredes Yordan Correa Altuve Walker Loperfido Diaz Meyers
