Ok, so I have Adaptec/Roxio's Easy CD Creator that came with my CD Burner. One day, when burning a cd, a message popped up saying "Unable to load ODBCJI32.DLL" with "ODBC driver for Microsoft Access problem" across the top of the error box. This happens after every song is burned on a disc. I've noticed that the disc will still play like normal once the burning process is done. BUt I also noticed that every time I put an audio CD in my comp, it's unable to load the CD player to play the damn thing! It brings up an 'Unable to find PLAYER.EXE' box like it doesn't know where the hell the Windows CD player is. So not only does that damn message come up with Easy CD, but now I can't seem to be able to play Audio CDs anymore as well. I tried d'loading the ODBCJI32.DLL file to my system folder, but the message still comes up. Anyone know what's going on, or at least can lead me in the right direction?
All I can tell you is that the ODBCJI32.DLL is a database resource driver for Windows. Why it's bombing on your machine, I don't know. Downloading the wrong version and putting it in your system folder may cause more problems. If I recall correctly that file is installed by an MDAC installation, but I could be wrong about that. If it is installed by MDAC, then downloading the MDAC 2.5 or 2.6 drivers may fix your problem. But you didn't hear me say that because I have no idea what's on your machine and don't want to be held liable for you screwing your machine up.
