NBATV gone for DIRECTV customers during offseason

    ....but you can get it back by 2 ways:

    1) Sign up for the Sports Pack, which NBATV comes along w/ it

    2) When the renewal of the NBA League Pass comes around and you purchase it, then it will work

    I called DIRECTV a few minutes ago and they told me it just happened. They said it was policy that was enforced from higher ups ....thinking the NBA got involved.

    They told me in order to make it up to customers for this fiasco, they will take $10 off each month off the Sports Pack until the NBA season comes up in Oct/Nov.

    What a bunch of crap! :mad: :mad: :mad:

    My cable company doesn't even give me NBA TV with League Pass...you have to pay for it separately by getting the sports package...and you're complaining about having to pay for it during the offseason? :confused:

    NBATV shows nothing but WNBA crap and pretty much anything involving the Lakers/Spurs/Piston. Not interested during the offseason anyway, although I have cable so I still have it.
