'You got me' NEW YORK (CNN) -- A British man wanted for dismembering one of his friends with a sword and scattering the body parts across an English lawn was spotted by two female tourists in Central Park Wednesday as he read a newspaper that had a "wanted" picture of him on it, authorities said. The two women alerted patrol officers that they believed Richard Markham, 27, was sitting on the bench. Police commissioner Raymond Kelly said officers then approached. Before saying anything, the man lifted his shirt up, revealing a tattoo on his stomach that said: "Made in England." "You got me," Markham said, according to Kelly. Markham, 27, had in his possession two newspapers containing photographs of him and articles about the gruesome slaying of his friend, authorities said. He also had a ticket stub to the movie "Spiderman" and one for the American Museum of Natural History. He was taken to Manhattan's Central Park police precinct for questioning. As he was being escorted out of the station to an awaiting patrol car, Markham said, "America is great, mates. I went to the Metropolitan Museum, the museum is great." Asked by reporters if he killed his friend, Markham said, "No, I didn't do it." Markham, who is believed to have flown into John. F. Kennedy International Airport last Friday, is to be brought before federal magistrate Thursday where prosecutors would likely seek to extradite him to England. British authorities accuse him of killing Tristian Lovelock, 25, after a night of drinking. The victim's body parts were found strewn around a housing project in Hampshire, England.
