I'm not sure how to fix it, but my computer plays audio, and video files, too quickly, so that it's sped up and everything is in a higher pitch (like a whole note higher than it should be). I don't know how it got like this, but I don't know how to fix it. It doesn't seem to matter which media player I use. Any suggestions?

i bet you could listen to skrewed music and it would sound normal yo!

you could start a whole new sub-genre of totally crunk "sped-up" skrewed music.

    Reinstall your sound card drivers.

No download a new soundcard, that should fix your problem.

Not sure if this is the problem but I had a keyboard that came with KMaestro software so I could control winamp with buttons on the keyboard. Sometimes when using it, the song would just randomly skip forward or become stuck on it. I would just exit the software and everything worked fine.
