It's the open source browser that Netscape is based on. It's what I use when I'm on a PC. Just download it from mozilla.org, it doesn't matter whether you get a talk-back enabled build or not (talkback is a system that reports crashes and bugs back to the developers, to help improve the software).

Mozilla lets you block pop-ups, advert images and lots of other cool stuff.

Mozilla is a stand-alone browser like Netscape or IE. You can use it instead of either of those and, as mentioned earlier, it stops pop ups and (according to the folks at TechTV) it's more secure.

There is also another free browser called Phoenix that is a more (supposedly) streamlined then Mozilla.

Phoenix is a streamlined version of Mozilla.

Mozilla has an email client, an HTML page composer, and a newsgroup reader. Phoenix is just a web browser. It uses the sames underlying software (the Gecko rendering engine) to display the pages.
