They had (or have) the ability to quickly build nuclear weapons due to the large amounts of enriched uranium that they have stockpiled. Additionally, Iran is rapidly advancing its ballistic missiles capability and we do not want to face the nightmare of their warheads raining down unto US cities. Of course, none of that matters to you.

 

Again according to Trumps own Intel the Iranians agreed on giving up it's entire stock of enriched uranium. You're propaganda doesn't work here. Trump went to war with Iran for Israel

I think that Trump will end our participation in the conflict and abandon the Iranian people to the genocidal Iranian regime. Undoubtedly, the Iranian people will harbor great animosity toward Trump and rightfully so.

I will forever have the sound of that marine protestor's ("we do not want to fight Israel's war" ) arm breaking in that doorway seared into my brain.

 

I'm sure when this war ends in glorious victory, Iran will let bygones be bygones.

 

I don't know how the Iranians will ultimately end up feeling about the US after all this.

What I do know is that it is unlikely this is a fight that the US can win anymore.

Every day that the old guard stays in power in Iran, the more likely it is they remain in power.

In order to win, we needed a swift, decisive victory. Victory being defined as total decapitation of Iranian leadership and the solid foundations laid for a democratic revolution.

Neither of those things has happened. The longer it takes, the less likely either will come to pass.

Now Iran simply waits for the US to pack it in because the economic pressure is unsustainable.

The question is, after the US inevitably walks away, will Iran allow the markets to breathe again, or will things stay weird?
