Has anyone ever ate there, people compare it to 5guys and In&Out Burger.. There will be one built in Katy soon and I was just wondering if the food is worth all the hype?

I've been once, but I've never had 5guys/In & Out. I thought it was pretty good! I'd like to go back sometime. The one I went to is off of Bay Area Blvd.

Honestly, I like Mooyah better than 5 guys. 5 guys is too salty for my taste. Mooyah uses very fresh vegetables and the burger is very good.

My wife went to the one in Austin. She said it's the best burger and best fries she's ever had.

I never had in and out but I was told Mooyah was a knock off. It was a damn good knockoff.

That's a great question. One recently opened near my office (in Austin). I've been wondering...

I like Mighty Fine, but haven't had Mooyah's nor 5 Guys for comparison.

You're right, it is a knock off.

I think 5 guys is the best out of all of them. My buddys gf's dad owns a number of Mooyahs in the dallas area and I've had the pleasure of a few comped meals. I like that their special sauce is thousand island dressing but I think 5 guys makes a better burger. The fries are all the same( not saying they're bad but they're all fresh cut fries that taste great so no difference in them to me).

    5 guys FTW!

They have a lot in Dallas...It's aight...I've never been to 5 guys, as they just opened one up in the Galleria...

I think Mooyah has the best fries, but as for burgers, it's decent...I usually just get their Turkey burgers and again, decent...

I've seen a couple around here in Dallas, but I've never tried it. I don't eat burgers much, but I may try that turkey burger one day. I always wonder how good a burger could be? But I'm no burger connoisseur - heck, I think Whoppers and Carl's Jr. are the best burgers I've had. lol.

Mooyah's is not an In-N-Out knockoff whatsoever.

In-N-Out is like an upgraded McDonalds with super-friendly people.
Mooyah's bread is so much better, and their vegetables are fresh.
Mooyah's reminds me of Culver's butterburgers.

Mooyah also beats In-N-Out in the fries department... best fries for any "fast" burger place.

But to me, both of these places pale in comparison to P. Terry's (Austin).
