    Pet peeve of mine... but "Congress" is comprised of both the House and the Senate... "Congress" is not just the house.

    I have, a few times. I was a contributing member before the crash (of the unsorted threads forum), and lost the status after. I have made small contributions since, but they may not have been enough to qualify for contributing member status. It's not enough of a deal for me to care much.

    Republicans are not going to do anything even if they get the majority in both the House and Senate, because that's what they do.

    They're not in the 10 most likely. California isn't likely to go Republican, but much moreso than Connecticut and Delaware.

    Will the Dems control the senate? Very much in question right now.... and that's a HUGE change since even a week ago. Very interesting. Dems in a freefall
