I know this is probably my 1000th thread here, but can anyone recommend a tutor for Cal II and/or Classical Physics (just a fancy way of saying, it's not algebra based physics but cal-based physics?). Or does anyone here tutor the above?

Before I get the "usual" replies, I've been on craigslist and contacted a few of them but where else can I go to see available tutors sorta like a craiglist deal where I can contact them and everything.

On the NW side of town so if travel's an issue, we can work out gas money.

    I didn't know Aristotle needed tutoring! :D

Dude just go to free tutoring at your school. I believe physics tutors at UH Central are actually graduate students, so they should know enough to tutor you.

Well, in his day, they only had geometry, so calculus is probably pretty hard.

FAIL. You have created 14 threads as of this post, sir.

    ;)

What's your budget for a tutor? I know someone, but they will be expensive.

Yeah, that hot Asian towel chick from the Rockets bench is also a physics tutor at UH. You should go get some tutoring.

I always found it was easier to just use the extra time reading/understanding the book and asking the professor/TA when help was need on a specific problem, especially on the lower level stuff like Cal II.

I do, I can't get anything done there because there's always too many people. I'm at Cy-Fair right now and not at UH. I would make the drive out there if and only if there were enough tutors to actually answer a damn question every 45 minutes. I don't know the tutoring situation there, how is it?

Nothing over the top. $40/hr at most. Which seems like it's the going rate doing some searches on craigslist and these learning centers around town. Does this tutor do this for a living and he charges a high amount or does he gouge people and have a good job? :)
