im starting to think that letting posey go was smart since we still have hawk. hawkins is just as good on D, and is just as good of a hustler. if he works on his jumper could he see 18+ minutes per game next season?
Well, I am a little suspicious because Pike's game is similar to Rice's game. JVG preaches defense. We let our defensive player get away. This move may be the first domino. The Rockets are working on a deal! (IMO )
IMO as well. Seems strange that JVG would let our best defender go, being the defensive minded coach he is. I'm thinking something else is on the horizon that we don't know about. We should be patient and wait and see.
I think he is still under contract in Europe. If that's so, he'll play out his contract there. He won't get the pt he needs as out 10, 11 or 12th man. He'll be given things to work on over there.
surely losing posey will prompt us to trade rice or cato. who do we have that can even play the 3? i just dont believe gundy would have any one of rice/nachbar/pike play 30+ minutes.
