Okay, there are multiple William Laimbeers?

He was drafted (into the NBA) in 1979, so I was thinking he would have been playing a sleestak in college, but he went to college in Notre Dame, while LotL was filmed in LA.

But no, wikipedia says that, while in highschool, he played a sleestak, and he did attend Palos Verdes. ...

Must be sad to peak at such an early age. :( But if you have to peak early, it may as well be shambling around and hissing through a ridiculous, I mean scary, rubber mask.

I think he was on that show, remember some of those sleestaks being pretty tall.

Besides, this acting (and action stunts) job got him prepared for what he became know for in the nBA...the king of Floppers aka Flip Flop Laimbeer. These players now don't have anything on Laimbeer when it comes to flopping, but don't be fooled. Unlike the euro players (like Gasoft, Nowitzki, and Kirlenko), ole Bill didn't mind throwing a hard foul or cheap shot on somebody. And ... Bad mouthing opposing players and refs.
