    I can't afford it (40k for a 20 yr old american car?), but it would be cool when some one asks what car you drive and you respond:

    "KITT"

    Them:
    "HUh?"

    You:
    "Ever seen knight rider?"

    Them:

    Bah. I'd rather have a replica with the Season 3 dash. Looks much nicer and it probably cheaper too.

    This was also auctioned on Ebay a while back. I think they were only asking $25-$30 K for it. I was seriously contemplating buying this, but with a new baby, just couldn't bring myself to do it/afford it.

    Did anyone catch the part about the fuel tank being replaced with a 2 gallon fuel cell? So much for driving cross country. ;)

    When I was a kid, I had a friggin' BIG WHEEL patterned after this car. And spinning out with that handbrake was fun as hell!

    I can only imgaine the ACTUAL CAR would be even sicker!
