Just suppose Rockets are in the playoffs, when will they start play?

    The reason I'm asking is I will be out of the country from 4/1 to 4/19 and will miss the rest of the season for sure.

    Now if they start the playoffs on the weekend after the last game, then I'm toast since I won't be back till Monday the 19th.

    Does anyone know how the playoff schedules works?

    Since the Rockets are not going to get homecourt in the first round, if I miss the first 2 games away wouldn't be that bad since they are likely to lost those anyway.

    And no, I would not have good internet access so while I might be able to check in once in a while, I would have a chance to do it everyday.

    My guess is the 17th or 18th. If you look at the Playoffs last year, I am pretty sure you can figure out what day they will be playing based on seedings.

    Last years 2/7 seeding was Kings/Jazz, they started the Saturday the 19th after the season ended, Game 2 21st (mon), game 3 26th (Sat), game 4 24th (Mon).

    That should give you a good estimate.
