Just Bought My 1st Handgun

    Thought about getting one for sometime now and I finally went threw with it two day's ago. Got myself a PT-111 9mm semi-auto pistol. :D Since I'm not from Houston, and I just got a new handgun... I was wondering where's a good place (like a shooting range) I can test it out. I don't wanna just have it sitting at home locked up you know!

    Oh yeah I forgot to mention that I live in West Houston, so if you guys know of any good spots to shot a few rounds it would be much appreciated. thx

    Question, what made you get a gun?

    I'm thinking about getting one myself. I moved into my home a few years ago, but sometimes I wonder if it's a good idea to have one, just in case.

    West Houston has that good firing range near the Millie Bush Dog Park near West Oaks Mall. You sometimes see Mario Williams firing his military grade weapons there. I haven't been to that area in a few years, but I remember it was there.

    Hearing that Carl Landry was shot out of the random probably made me think about getting one more and I wanted insurance for the future.

    Is the place you were talking about happen to be "American Shooting Centers" located on Westheimer in George Bush Park? If so I was wondering if you know if they have a indoor range.
