Ok, I just read Bill Simmon's book, The Book of Basketball, and in it he openly talks about refs influencing games. He also talks about Hakeem, how great his post game was (well, he's in love with Kevin McHale, so he ranks Hakeem behind McHale in terms of his post game..), but.. No mention of the issues Hakeem had with Joey Crawford. So I'm curious, has anyone ever looked at Hakeem's stats (and the Rocket's stats) when Hakeem played, in the games Joey reffed versus other refs? Has that study ever been done? just curious. David.
