I'm hoping to find an Italian food restaurant in or near the Tomball/249 area that has good food and is affordable (around $8 per entree).

    Any suggestions?

    Do you live in Tomball?

There is one place in a strip center by the newer Laquinta. It is kind of expensive, and I didn't really like it, though.

Not exactly in Tomball, but not too far from Willowbrook, there is a place called Polatos. Best Italian food Ive ever had.

Given the location and the budget, I'd suggest Pizza Inn.

    or you could look here:

If your are near I45 then Lasagna House III on 1960 and 45 is a really good place for the price. I have only eaten there for lunch so im not really sure if its much more for dinner.

No - but my in-laws do, and I'm up there all the time. They never try new restaurants, and therefore don't know what's around their neighborhood. Since I live inner-loop, I don't know what's good around there either.

A place that I really like is Amerigo's. It is just west of Kuykendahl on Louetta. It is a little more than $8 an entree but very worth it. We used to go to a Wine Dinner that they would have. It was about $65 a person and they would serve different wines with about 5-6 different courses. Very very very very good. Their normal menu isnt that pricey. Usually $10-$15.
