Is the Western Conference really unpredictable?

    I always hear people say anyone can beat anyone is the west and seeding does not matter. Except the last 2 years there has been 14 playoffs series and the team with home court advantage has won 13 of them. The only team to lose was the rockets to Portland. I think it's safe to say if you want to advance in the west you need a high seed and home court.

    Many teams can get HCA. HCA is important. Is that your point?

    The seeding is unpredictable.

    Rockets could have easily been 2-6.
