Anyone bought the DVD yet? I'm thinking of getting it today. I hope it's worth my $22.99 (I know the movie was good, but usually DVD's that high have extra scenes and crap included).
I watched it a few weeks ago...There really wasn't anything on the dvd except a couple of interviews(Tarintino and I guess the directior) and a bunch of movie trailers for some other kung-fu flicks. Iron Monkey kicks ass ....it has some of the best fight scenes ever.I'm a big fan of the genre and I put that movie in my top 5.
is this the same iron monkey that was in theaters a few months ago and my friends told me jet li was in it but he wasn't. maybe its just me but that movie sucked so damn horribly i couldn't stand it. i got 10 minutes in and all the corny acting and dialogue that sounded funny when translated just got to be too much. luckily i had found a ticket for don't say a word and that saved me. it was hilarious cuz my friends kept telling me about this awesome dragon in iron monkey trying to make me think i missed something.
I don't think so.The one I rented at blockbuster wasn't dubbed,it had subtitles and there was nothing about a dragon,.Jet isn't in it either. I did rent another one with Jet Li called Legend of the Red Dragon and it had some really corny dialogue, that may be what it was ? That one wasn't very good. Iron Monkey is awesome. The choreographer is the same guy that did The Matrix and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. Here is the website for it ... http://www.iron-monkey.com/
