Toronto probably won't lure Steve Nash and was looking at Kyle Lowry. So how about trade Lowry and one of our 7 PF's for Solomon Alabi and future draft pick. Get a center who's never gotten much playing time. Get rid of Lowry and a PF and get a center. Look at histime he got last couple games when they actually threw him decent minutes. Big reminder and can block. Thoughts?

Not the answer and terrible trade, not that you can do that trade as Alabi is now a FA. Alabi is expected to play with the Raptors summer league team.

I've been saying the same thing for months but everytime I say that everyone acts as if Adabi isn't worth it. I very much disagree and brought up in another thread that both Toronto and Denver who has McGee signed Centers to their team in the draft.

Alabi would be an interesting prospect. If he is a FA, can be had on the cheap, plug him into the summer team and see how he does. He's a 7'1 center that looks like can rebound and seems like a decent free throw shooter as well.

I think he'd be able to develop at least some what of an offensive game under McHale. Low Risk, High Reward type of move IMO

Just focusing on young center's, I would put focus on Sacramento's Hassan Whiteside. The kid has immense defensive potential. In a game against us, you could see first hand of what he's capable of doing when given time.

I think if given proper time he could develop into a defensive big ala DeAndre Jordan. Big time sleeper.

    Trade proposal:
Sacramento gets: Patrick Patterson and Marcus Morris

Sactown gets a good back-up PF for Thomas Robinson, and one of Cousins old friends in Patrick Patterson. While also getting a young talented player, who plays a position of need for them, in Marcus Morris.

Houston gets: Hassan Whiteside and Jimmer Fredette

Rockets get some PG insurance with Jimmer Fredette, while also getting a young Center whome they can groom into a great defensive center. This trade also kills some unwanted depth and open's up playing time for guys like Terrence Jones and Royce White.
