    1. Yao Ming's weak play is getting old really fast. At 7'6", he needs to:

    ...DUNK the ****ing ball.
...punish opponents who come into the lane.
    ...rebound.

    2. Q: What do you do with a coach who is well-liked by the players/management, not good with set offense/defense, but has coached two championship teams?

A: Nothing. Trade for intelligent players.

    3. Q: How can Houston justify the trade of Francis and Mobley?

A: The only way to justify the (separate) trades of Francis and Mobley would be the benefit of return: All-Star players (SAR, A. Miller)

    4. Players to Keep: Cato, Nachbar, and Taylor. Everyone else can go. Yes, even Posey.

And you are what? Or on what? C'mon, Yao is doing well and playing complaintlessly through obvious fatigue and international pressure.

Stevie could not be traded. Period. End of story. His contract assures that any SF trade talk is just tomfoolery.

As for keeping Cato and Taylor and Boki -- Boki, I hardly know ye. You don't know him either.

Taylor has a contract inferring he is a special player.

Cato has the size and contract inferring he is a special player.

    Both special players are available.

I don't see how players like Andre Miller and Shareef Abdur Rahim, both of whom have never played on a team that had a .500+ record, would be any better than Francis/Mobley.

Yes yao need to finish stronger. It is really embarrasing to see him get rejected by much smaller opponents. But I understan he is in his rookie year so I am ready to give him a little slack. But if you going to "lay" it gently just make sure it is high enough so that no one can swat it away. I also know he is tired but it is important he sends a message early to his opponents. Talking about fartigue, could the in-season weight programme he is doing a problem? From experience I it is very hard to wake up in the morning following weight lifting session(s). Well the Rockets trainers know best on that one.

On the bright side he has really improved on the defensive side of things (comparing where he is now to where he was in the first 10 weeks of the season).

Are you sure Mark Eton wouldn't be a better choice. He was 7-4, weighed 300 pounds and could jump as high as an elephant, but he drove Hakeem crazy.

Seriously, I wish I hope I know it won't occur -- Arvedis for the MCE. The ideal tutor/back up.

Keep Cato, Nachbar, and Taylor, but trade Francis and Mobley for two players who haven't shown that they can win...

Dreamcasting is fine, but at least make it reasonable.
