I'm thinking at this point there are a few ahead of him at this point like Nash, Duncan, Dirk, Shaq, KG, MAYBE Kobe with his bloated numbers... But if Rockets were to win about 75% of the remaining schedule and get out of the 1st Round (assuming his torrid numbers continue as of late), will T-Mac be the 04-05 MVP? Last year's announcement came on May 3rd, so if the Suns/Mavs falter early on, Lakers/Wolves skip the post season, it'll be a three-way race between Shaq, Duncan, and T-Mac. With the Rockets being this year's "wild card" playoff team and the first two aforementioned already having won the MVP (Duncan 2x), I say YES!!!
