Question: How come the contruction on hw 59 near shepard/main area is taking forever to complete? The whole 610/Galleria area was redone and looks great, but didnt the 59 area started before that?

Now I see more changes on I-10/610 being done than I do on 59. That area on 59 is less than a MILE LONG too.

The good news is 59 is actually AHEAD of schedule. A big part of it is supposed to open up within 6 months. I just saw a story about it on the news the other day.

I think the hardest thing they have to deal with there is the constraint in space to work with. But it's been 2 years...not TOO bad. I will be happy when it's over though.
