help identify song!

    i just heard this song by filter called 'the only way is the wrong way' and immediately thought it sounded familiar (from the opening riff and some riffs in between to the way the guy sings "did you"). they're or their producer obviously referenced another band/song, one that wasn't obscure. anyone know what song they've poached from?

    i think it sounds like a previous song of theirs, released 3 year earlier, 'take a picture'.

    i just had a listen to 'take a picture' they're just basically karaoke-ing jane's addiction there. it does have the strummy guitar but completely different melody.
