I want to warn you that I've never been beaten on XBL when it comes to Halo. Spoiler Since I've never played Halo on XBL...or really played anything online. They also released a vidoc, which you can check out at one of the following links: http://www.bungie.net/News/content.aspx?type=topnews&link=MPBetaAndVidocRelease http://www.xboxyde.com/news_4195_en.html Or you can download it from the XBLM I believe.
not too be rude man, but you should really try and use some of all that extra time posting a get a job/money. would take you a months worth of work and you would be set.
Most of my time goes into my college courses. I'd rather not handle a job and my classes (especially with some of the courses I'm taking), although I might have to do that in the near-future. Certainly would help me out in a number of areas. Not that this would really change the amount of time I have for posting. I usually post in-between classes or while I'm working on homework or on a programming assignment.
Not sure what I've gone on record for saying in the past when things may have been different than they are now. Here recently, I've more or less gone on record as saying I'd rather get a Wii than a PS3 right now (and I plan on getting both eventually, unless something drastic happens...think I've said that too). I'm planning on getting one of them by the end of the year, allowing the libraries for each to fill out as well as allow for the opportunity for price cuts on both. That should help me decide on which platform to get, or whether I should even consider something else. I've never really considered a 360 since most of the games that really interest me on that platform will either make their way to the PC or on the PS3. If games like MGS4 and Final Fantasy XIII (the "real" ones anyway) make their way to the 360 ala DMC4, then I'd definitely reconsider my options. That's another reason why I'm waiting actually, at least when it comes to deciding whether to get a PS3 or 360.
Most of the games that interest me are story-driven single player experiences (FF, MGS, GOW, etc.), so I'm not sure if I'll be having that much more fun with online play for games like that (assuming games like that could even have online play). That said, there would be some games that I would like to check out online. For example, I would definitely be interested in a ClutchFans NBA 2K Tournament, or something similar. Assuming I get an decent, uncapped broadband connection, I'm planning on trying out online play by the end of the year or so. The chances would be higher if I end up getting a new system of course. So I guess RC Cola > Halo 3? I'm so awesome.
