JVG should never go back to coaching. he's the best tv analyst there has ever been.

I don't know about best ever but he is pretty good. Much better analyst than coach. Coaching stressed him out too much.

He lost weight, too. Looks happier, clearly has more energy, and the nerd glasses really cement the look. :)

I lol'd at Pop's reaction when I watched the game. I agree, JVG should never ever go back to coaching, no matter how appealing a contract would be, stick with ESPN, and Mike Breen!

I think he is a good coach, better tv analyst, an a great leader! I also respect his straightforward candid approach! He could of been a great comedian if he wanted to, he has a great sense of humor!

Not sure if serious? Mark Jackson and JVG were great together. They were the perfect mix of humor and knowledge.

Except that JVG was the one who brought the humor AND knowledge.

From an entertainment stand point, JVG's the best commentator there is with his combo of humor & knowledge!

The only way Jackson had any commentator credibility was when ESPN was cutting to commercial with the most recent fast break highlight or a nasty dunk, and Jackson would say:

"Hand down, man down," or "Mamma, there goes that man." Or a combination of the two.
