I'm not sure we should thank Indiana and Washington for winning. It hurts Toronto's meager playoff chances, and our chance to get their pick.

    You know what sucks?

I was so interested in, and looking forward to, a fairytale ending for Miami, where they win the East. It's a pipe dream, but it's possible.

But now, it's starting to look like either Toronto or Miami. So, I guess I'll be rooting for Toronto.

Also, funny how it turns out we have to root for Olajuwon's new team, right? Twist of fate?

What's up with Minnesota lately? They've been sucking (they even helped us beat them, y'know?). They've almost fallen to that sixth spot. I thought the acquisition of Marc Jackson would help them, not help everyone else.

Sane-But would anything be more painful for the Raptors/Olajuwon than losing the best possible pick they could give us (#14), and then going 3 and out in the first round?

Anyhow, this was my dream scenario in the first place-the Rockets get a GREAT pick (if it happens, trading Olajuwon for the #14 pick is a STEAL), and Olajuwon goes to the playoffs.

What i would REALLY love would be for them to finish 8th, we get the 14th pick, and a rejuvenated Hakeem, along with Vince the wuss, take the Raptors to the Eastern Finals despite being 8th. Don't ever underestimate the heart of a champion....

    Better ending, right?

I'm really hoping we get the 14th, to add to our 7th, and (hopefully) reigning Most Improved Player winner Kenny Thomas sending it all to the Clipps for Odom and a 2004 first round draft pick (when we'll need a C). I also wouldn't mind giving the 2 picks and KT up to anyone who would give us Yao Ming.

Let's hope that by law of statistics, all our good luck comes in the offseason in exchange for the injuries.

Eh?!?! I would love to have Odom on our team, but no way in hell do I make that trade. KT and two first rounders for Odom and a future pick is way too pricy. I would have done the deal last year. This year KT is whooping dat ass and I think his value with every GM has gone way up. KT and the 14th pick (maybe throw in a second rounder) for Odom is the max I would be willing to give.
