I bought a Seagate 500gb SATA/300 Barracuda Hard Drive about 6 weeks ago because I was planning on building a desktop or putting the hard drive in an external enclosure.

I ended up buying a new hard drive for my laptop instead and now have the Seagate sitting around. It is brand new and still in the box and shrink wrap.

I paid $145 for it with shipping, so I would like to get close to that for the drive.

$130 is cool (Best Buy has it for 159.99 right now). I can't return the drive because I bought it over a month ago. I can only get store credit  Here are the specs:

    Model number - ST3500641AS-RK
Seagate SATA/300 Barracuda 3.5" Internal Hard Drive
    5-year limited warranty
    500 GB
    16 MB Cache
    7200 RPM
    3 GB/s data rate

    The box includes:
    The drive
    SATA interface cable
    SATA power adapter
    CD with software and manual
    Quick installation guide
    Mounting screws

I just copied all this info from the back of the box. Shoot me an email through the board if you are interested. I just bought a 160 GB drive for my laptop. I don't need 500 GB + 160 GB + 60 GB (my original laptop drive)!!!! Someone help me out. I live in Midtown.

Ok....I have had a few responses but nothing has materialized.

I will take $110 now. This is a steal. You can get an external enclosure to make this a bad ass 500GB external hard drive.

You can paypal me and I will ship it to you.

You are not in Houston, right? Shipping should not be more than $6-8.
