Fan Alleges Altercation With Pippen
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- A Portland season-ticket holder claims Scottie Pippen verbally and physically assaulted him after the Trail Blazers' playoff victory over Dallas on Sunday.

According to a police report, Jeff Scott McClelland, 33, said Pippen approached him after the game, shaking his finger in his face, and asking 'What's your problem, punk?'

McClelland claims Pippen threw a cup of water at him, hitting him on the chin and the lip.

The allegation is the latest episode in a season filled with bad publicity for the Blazers, including the arrest of several players on drug charges.

Speaking in Dallas on Wednesday before the Blazers played the Mavericks, Pippen told reporters he would only talk about basketball.

No charges have been filed against Pippen, who has six championship rings from his time with the Chicago Bulls and is generally considered the mature leader of his often-troubled teammates.

McClelland could not immediately be reached for comment. Paul Michael Moore, who attended the game with McClelland, said McClelland was razzing Pippen throughout the game. ``Mr. McClelland said things like, 'You are paid $14 million dollars, where is your heart?' and 'If you are the team leader, why aren't you leading by example?''' said Moore, who owns a commercial mortgage company in Portland. ``I was spit on when Mr. Pippen came and when he was screaming at us over the railing,'' Moore said. ``We were actually spit on.''

Portions of the altercation were recorded via cell phone, Moore said, and a Portland television station showed footage of fans drying themselves off.

Moore said Blazers management asked him not to comment.

Portland Police Spokesman Brian Schmautz said if charges are filed, Pippen could potentially be charged with harassment, a charge that carries a fine of several hundred dollars, community service or both.

Throwing a cup of water at someone is considered assault? That's pretty funny.
Regardless, I hate Pippen.
