International federations take things much more seriously than in the US. Pretty scary. Get caught doping in track? Career over. Get caught in NFL? Take a month off.

The situation is this. A mechanic from ferrari was fired and moved over to mclaren and brought along technical documents from ferrari to give mclaren an advantage. The teams spend hundreds of million a year on R&D, so you can only imagine how much $$$ worth of information was brought over.
