29 (22) Texans - 0-1-0 - When your No. 1 WR catches three passes for 18 yards, your No. 1 RB rushes for 48 yards and your QB only throws for 70 yards, it's going to be a very long day.

Thought I throw in the Cowgirls ranking....

8 (19) Cowboys - 1-0-0 - It's just one week, but Cowboys fans (and Bill Parcells) have to be pretty excited about the start of the Drew Bledsoe era.

With Gates playing on Sunday, the Cowgirls easily lose that game. I'll reserve my jugdement on them.

As for the Texans, based on last week's preformance alone, I would rank them 32nd, actually 31st, because no matter how bad we are the Titans will be worse.

I'm actually wondering what Cleveland, Tennessee, & Chicago had to do to get ranked below the Texans.

easily? No. But they probably would have lost, and they don't deserve that #8 ranking yet.

Texans deserve that #29 spot after that showing last sunday though.

Don't worry, with a little less hard work, we'll be 32nd in not time... :(

It's already bad enought hearing all the cowgirls stuff 24/7...Funny, I grew up a cowboys fan 2nd and a Houston fan 1st, but living here has practically killed being a cowgirls fan at all...

Im a former Oilers Season Ticket holder and Cowboys season ticket holder. I'd buy Texans tickets if I could afford enough for the whole family but I can't yet.

I love both the cowboys and the texans and I'm teaching my kids to do the same.

That said... the boys don't deserve an 8 ranking and while I'm real disappointed in the Texans I don't think they should be that far down. 25th or so should be about right.

I don't expect us out of the bottom 5 for a while. I'm pretty discouraged about our prospects. I honestly feel that the team took a step back over the offseason, and the coaching is being exposed.

Maybe if we fire Casserly in time, we can use our forthcoming high #1 pick to nab a legit OT.

They should probably be #34 behind USC and Texas.

29 is too high a ranking for the Texans. They had easily the worst performance of week 1.

^ Agreed. I don't see how any team could have looked worst than we did on Sunday. 70 yards passing-3 interceptions? Yikes!

I would rather see the Texans succeed than the Cowboys. I can't stand 'em. America's Team my arse!
