Worth a listen if you want to hear discussions about the labor situation:

One key take-away: The crux of the argument is the split of the revenue between the owners and the players, the rest of the issues (guarantee, hard cap, revenue sharing, etc.) are all side show and not very relevant.

Fast forward to Larry Coon from 21:00 - 47:00. Russ Granik at the beginning is boring.

    Coon:
Talked a lot about needing to loosen the trade restrictions.

I agree. No more easy access Trade Checker machines for the fans. But like they said, you shouldnt have to sign Keith Van Horne and Aaron McKie out of RETIREMENT just to satisfy trade requirements. Maybe from 125% salary difference to 200%.

Get rid of the sign and trade.

DOUBT they're gonna from 57% player share down to 37% like the owners want. Said if its even 52% player share then teams will get "in the black".

Said even if there WAS a hard cap in the current agreement, down the line after teams make back some money then they'll loosen up and get a soft cap later anyway.

Nov 15th when players miss their first paycheck is when **** will hit the fan and negotiations really spike up.

    Sheridan:
Basically said the the owners want a 10 year agreement with players getting 39%. On that plan players salaries will actually FLATTEN and not RISE. Owers want to make their money back over time. Players want a 5 year deal with CBA ending a year after tv contract is up.

Middle ground is 50/50 split on "BRI". BRI is percentage of money from either gross revenue or net revenue.

Said owners are trying to take back some player's money sitting in escrow from the PREVIOUS deal that the players already earned lol.
