Thanks for posting this. He seems much more comfortable with himself and his sphere due to the path he choose 8 years ago. I wonder if I would have thought his journey was worth the risk had he not reached that level of self-actualization at the end.
thanks. no matter how much talent he had, or his past accomplishments, he is still a weirdo. yoga, c'mon.
Nothing wrong with yoga at all. I loved this 30 for 30. I think everyone can take something away from this. We're always in a fight to learn about ourselves, discover what we love, and find out the things that matter to us. He may be a bit of a loon but can everyone honestly say they're truly happy with everything in life? I dont necessarily agree with how he chose to find himself (in terms of leaving the NFL and just disappearing) but I love that he has found himself and that's something that very few people ever do. Hell I recently started to be more religious and now spend a lot more time praying and meditating. Five years ago I'd have laughed at the idea of doing any of that but I've found real joy in doing it and I hope everyone takes the time to really think about what they're doing with life and find what's best for you.
there is nothing wrong with yoga. i just thought the road he took was an unusual one, especially for someone of his stature. i figured he would of spent time at the strip clubs. it's nice to see someone take a different road. sorry, don't know what p90x is.
i also liked it, it was done well and seemed more personal than some of the other ones. my favorite is "The U".
the p90x is the latest workout fad that everybody loves. people getting ripped in 6 weeks. it's some crazy workout with everything, cardio, yoga, weights etc. well, Ricky did have to pay child support for his other kids. but i'm glad he found himself inner peace. life is not easy, even if you are a famous football player. that's alot of extra pressure on you to live up to expectations. he did have social anxiety problems and lots of personal issues that probably stemmed from his dad.
