I've got Nero's Wave Editor and some editing functions that come with Cake Pyro 2003, but I'm wanting a complete, easy to use package, and yet one that is under $100 or so. I'll mostly be cleaning up speeches after recording from cassettes. Anyone tried Sound Forge Studio?
I agree with SoundForge... not exactly easy, but if all you're gonna do is snip out dead air or applause, this could be your tool.
