The Houston Dynamo signed star forward Brian Ching to a new four-year contract.

Ching had one-year left on the contract he was working off of this season. Chris Canetti, the Dynamo's chief operating officer, confirmed for FOX 26 Sports Thursday the team tore up the final year of that contract and gave him a new deal.

They don't mention what the salary is but I'm guessing it's the same and this was mainly to give Ching some security.
