DVD-RW Drives?

    anyone know anything about these? how much do the dvd blank discs cost? for those of you who have a DVD burner, is it worth it?

    Prices should continue to drop, so if you need large removable storage, or the means to create Video DVDs its not a bad deal. Just a year ago, the same drives that cost $800 are now selling for just over $300.

    The media is not bad, either. I paid $10 per disc when I first got my drive, but these are now in the $2 range.

    can you rent DVDs from the video store, and burn them onto a $2 disc?

    You can rip the DVD to your hard drive, then burn it to a DVD-R.
